Christ Abiding in Us Yields the Fruit of the Spirit

God’s abiding presence in us is really all we need.  When you have all of the Creator, what good is only a small part of His creation.  If  He is indeed abiding in us, all of our physical and emotional needs will be met.

With His Spirit abiding in us, we will have found “the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto us.”

The spiritual fruit will come with the sap of His abiding spiritual presence in us.  Love, joy, and peace will flow through us out to others, and they will marvel when they see this great light shining into their dark, loveless life.

And they will feel the warmth of God’s love as it touches their hearts, and they will long to lie down and rest in our spiritual pastures of peace that our Great Shepherd has led us into.   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

wow wayne…it is hard to believe that this post has had no replies.
What advice would you give to those who do not have them? Secondly, if one has them, what else could one say to this post you have provided except to say, “amen.”
If one would even entertain the notion that they do not have them, would they even admit it?
This reminds me what we see when we read John 14:6…I am the way the truth and the life and no man cometh to the Father but by Me. Yet, millions believe in God, and here we read that their belief in God is meaningless or falls on deaf ears if their prayers are not presented to God based on their faith in Christ and he being the one who made it possible that God would hear them.
Im not sure if you see the connection, but your thoughts would be appreciated.

  2. About “no man cometh unto the Father but by Me…”: The invisible Father Yahweh dwelt bodily in the Son of God. The “Son” is the “image of the invisible God (the Father). Therefore, if we believe this and receive this into our being, then we will realize that if someone rejects the Son of God, they are are rejecting the Father Yahweh as well. Why? Because they have rejected the Father’s dwelling place–the Anointed One, the vessel He has chosen to dwell in fully. They are One. “The fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily in Christ Jesus…” “He that hath not the Son, hath not the Father…” Hope this helps. And thank you very much for your comment and encouragement.
