Who Are the Future Manifested Sons and Daughters?

The Holy Scriptures speak of a group of Christians who will grow to become like the early apostles. Paul, John, and Peter wrote eloquently about them.

But who are these future immortal ones? The time in history is right for them to appear on the scene; it is the time of the end. Most Christians have read that “He is bringing many sons unto glory” (Hebrews 2:10). And they have read that He has given us power “to become the sons of God” (John 1:12). But most say that we cannot be like Paul, Peter and John. Who are the few who do believe, who are grown from the same seed as the apostles?

One major trait that they all have is an unsatiable appetite for the truth. They want the absolute, unadulterated truth as to why we are here on earth. Who is this Creator? What is His plan for us? What’s the timetable for coming events? What about the evil in the earth? Who inhabits Satan’s kingdom? Who is calling the shots, running the show, pulling the strings of the puppet politicians? How will the world end?

They want to know the truth about the things that touch all our lives. And when they hear it,    they are quick to lay the idols of their own prior understanding on the burn pile.

You can tell who they are by their ability to discern what is truth and what is a lie. God has given them this ability, and that is what sets them apart. That is what makes them different from other human beings. God has chosen them and ordain them for His mission. And he will not allow them to be deceived any longer.

It is this humility, this dependence on God’s Spirit, that allows them to seek and find the truth. Yes, God intervenes and creates a hunger in their hearts for truth. That is the beginning of God calling them to Himself. It’s the start of the Quest, when the hero awakens out of his selfish slumber. And he is made aware that there is something greater than his anemic little desires for vainglory. Something much greater than himself is afoot here. He begins to realize that something earth-shattering and then, earth-reshaping, lies in the prophetic pages soon to come to life for those who seek.

But it all starts when God instills the thirst for truth. It is all Him. He is behind everything. He is the “Author and Finisher of our faith.” He arranges our lives from desperation to the first steps on this pilgrimage to find the Source of love and peace. He injects our lives with desire to know Him who is the Truth. And then we learn that it is His ballpark—His bat, ball and gloves. He invites all to play. Those who show up for the meaningful and sometimes strenuous practices, will be learning to play by His rules. Those who learn them will be the starters at game time.

Many are called but few are chosen.
God does not call the king and queens, world leaders. the intellect, the wealthy but the ordinary lives of people who love Him. Ordinary people who have been tested and refined by the Great I Am.
We are just the vehicle, chosen by God to carry His message to a sin sick world that at present is utterly out of control !
Seek Him while He may be found for the signs of the times are near !
How precious are souls that Jesus would died for to give us eternal life !
Only believe and live, bringing His message to a lost world !
Have a worthy life, not of self but telling the Good News !

Thank you Kenneth for this encouragement-I so needed it!!
Walking the path of truth and continually being open to letting go of whatever lies and deceptions have been picked up in life, as well as discerning the lies of the global narrative that is presently playing out, is at times, quite draining and very lonely. Nonetheless, my motto continues to be, “Though none go with me, still I will follow. . . No turning back, no turning back!”

    • So true, Joanna. I know Christ’s “little flock” is out there. He has sent me to write words of encouragement, peace and hope and to let “this little light of mine” shine and pierce the darkness. As we all get deeper into His mind, He will show us the path that is diametrically opposed to almost every tenet of organized churchianity. I call is “fake good news.” It is a false gospel. Thanks so much for the comment. Hope to hear from you soon. Be sure to order my new book. Information found here: https://immortalityroad.wordpress.com/donate/

When a person is saved by the Holy Spirit, this is a critical time in his life.
The old has become new and a new life in Christ. But he is babe in Christ, drinking on the sincere milk of the Lord. He will be ridiculed by his “friends”
for what has happened to him But no turning back, he knows he has a true friend among friends !
This babe needs help from genuine people who want to see him grow in the Lord .A gospel believing church, there he found a new way of life plus Christian people who will nurture him.
The early years are so critical, they will provide a bedrock so he will be able to assimilate the meat of the Word !
He will find out faith without works is dead and so he allows the Holy Spirit to be his mentor and this is a long life venture for him.
Growing in the Lord is an awesome thing, a transformation so unique that he know now his life is not his own but that he was brought with the price of God’s Son Jesus Christ !
I will attest that a lifetime with the Lord grows sweeter as the years go by.
God will test and purge us to our very limit but no going back for I am in God’s family.
Saved at 22, now 87, I am knocking on the gates of pearly, come Lord Jesus,
your servant needs to go home.
My beloved wife was the one who invited me out to church.
On our second date, she asked to go to church with her and I said yes. I really liked her !.
She smiled with a grin, thankyou Lord for what You are going to do !
    What faith !
