God’s Chosen People–The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel

In these latter days, God is searching for His people.  The unenlightened will respond, saying that the people known as Jews today are His people, so no problem finding them.

But they are wrong.  85% of today’s Jews did not spring from the loins of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel [1].  They are not the “lost sheep of the House of Israel” that Christ was only sent to, but are of a Turko-Mongol tribe known as the Khazars who converted en masse to Judaism at the heighth of their power during the Middle Ages.

These people are not God’s chosen people who He scattered in 721 B.C. and 603 B.C.–the House of Israel (ten tribes) and the House of Judah (two tribes), respectively.  Yahweh likens His chosen people to sheep, the sheep of His pasture.

And although they strayed and sinned against Him and He scattered them, He is jealous in His watching care over them, having something wonderful planned for them at the end of this age.

Our job as His elect, is to sift through all the information out there, both true and false, and share the truth with those who are slated to come into His government, His kingdom.

But some teachers are persisting on teaching falsehoods and lies about God’s plan and purpose, about the endtimes, and about just who His people are.

In the scriptures, He refers to the religious leaders of the 12 tribes of Israel down through the centruies as “the shepherds of Israel.”  These shepherds–the rabbis, pastors, ministers, priests, evangelists, prophets, teachers, and pastors–have not fed the flock of Yahweh with His truth.  In fact, they have hidden the truth about Yahweh’s identity, His name and its significance and meaning, and His plan and purpose in reproducing Himself in this earth in His elect.

Another Gospel

They have substituted “another gospel,” another name, and another false vision that does not agree with the prophets’ and apostles’ vision of Yah in His kingdom glory.

Furthermore, these false shepherds grow rich from His people.  They fleece the people of their money, deceiving them into supporting a system that churns out falsehoods, misconceptions, and myths about the Creator.

Because of all this, Yahweh through the prophet Ezekiel prophesied against these shepherds.  “Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves!  Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?” (34: 2).  He is saying, You profit from my people, but you don’t do anything good for them.  You don’t feed them; you don’t comfort the sick or gather the lost.  “But with force and cruelty have you ruled them” (v. 3-4).

And because of you wicked pastors, my sheep were scattered and “wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill…upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them” (v. 5-6).  No one eaten up by the world system cares about the “lost sheep of the House of Israel,” who Jesus/Yahshua said He was only sent to.  What great importance He placed upon them!  Christ’s Spirit through the apostle James wrote his book to them!  “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.”  To the twelve tribes that were already by then, 700 years 0n, scattered “north and west” of Jerusalem.  James’ mind was thinking the same thoughts as his Master Jesus/Yahshua.  He knew that he was sent to the lost sheep.

Should we think that all the other apostles were any less mindful of these “lost sheep of the House of Israel”?  This proves that the above message delivered by the Holy Ghost through His prophet Ezekiel about His sheep and their false shepherds was far-reaching, spanning many centuries, even to the end of our age!

And so the Spirit has a message for the sheep and their false shepherds today.  “O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD (Yahweh)…Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand…”  And the false pastors will stop feeding My people, and they will stop making their living from them.  “For I will deliver my flock from their mouth” (v. 7-10).  Falling into the hands of the living God is a fearful thing!  I would not want the Creator to be angry with me and be against me because I was teaching false doctrines!

God Is Searching for His Lost Sheep

Yahweh goes on to say that “I will search my sheep, and seek them out.”  God will find them where they are scattered all over this world.  He will feed them with truth, seeking out His lost ones.  They are lost, for they know not who they are; they do not know that they are the descendants of the Twelve Tribes of Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.  They not only do not know who they are, they do not know that God Almighty is seeking them out.

Yes, He is seeking them out by first placing in them a hunger and a need to know their spiritual roots.  Meanwhile, God is placing in the hearts of true shepherds the true knowledge of His plan and purpose, and they will with the Great Shepherd at the helm teach the lost sheep about Him and His kingdom and how He is regathering and restoring His people to the original prominence they once had with Him.

God will find them where they are scattered all over the earth.  He will heal them and save them, and will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even His servant David (v. 23).  Yes, King David in his new spiritual body will be over us in the kingdom.  Christ is coming back to establish His government of the entire earth.  There will be peace in His kingdom and “showers of blessing” will fall on the land for His people (v. 26).

To be a part of this, we, the sheep of His pasture, must prove all things out that are taught to us.  Question everything and pray for God’s guidance in proving a teaching–whether it is true or false.  We must dig deep, very deep into the spiritual matters if we want to reign with Him at the end of this age.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Ezekiel 38 Happens AFTER the 1,000 Year Reign of Christ

Many voices are trumpeting the soon-coming invasion of the Holy Land by Gog and Magog and Co.  Even Prime Minister Netanyahu recently said that the invasion was coming soon.   They cite Ezekiel 38 as proof that this war will be started by Russia and Iran in the very near future.

These claims are unfounded and untrue.  Footnotes in most Bibles for Ezk. 38: 2 sends us to Revelation 20: 8, where we see that same Gog and Magog leading other satanically deceived nations.  But when does this happen?  Verse 7 is the first half of the sentence, and it says, “And when the thousand years are expired [the 1,000 year reign of Christ], Satan shall be loosed out of prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations…Gog and Magog, to gather them to battle…and they went up…and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city,” Jerusalem (v. 7-9).

This is after the 1,000 year reign of Christ upon the earth.  Gog and Magog, Russia and Iran and Co., will be used by God that way at that time.  Not in our day, not in our present time.

Here is more proof that the invasion of Jerusalem by Gog and Magog comes not at this time in history.  The Promised Land at the time of the invasion of Gog and Magog will be at total peace (read 1,000 year reign of peace).  The invaders shall find the population living in a “land of unwalled villages.”  They are “at rest” and “dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates” (Ezk 38: 11).

That is the cultural environment that Gog and Magog will find.  The Israeli state today is preparing for war, both its citizens and the army.  They are not dwelling safely and have many bars and gates on their houses and neighborhoods.  No rest and peace are found in the Israeli state.  Rocket attacks have become  a daily occurance.  Fear and uncertainty are a constant, present reality.

This is why I say that the Gog and Magog attack of Ezekiel 38 will be much later in history.

One more reason.  The inhabitants of the Holy Land, who are living in complete peace and rest, will come from all the twelve tribes of Israel.  Right now primarily Jews live in the Israeli state.  True Jews come out of the Kingdom of Judah, whose subjects were descended from only two tribes–Judah and Benjamin.  The other Ten Tribes of Israel  were “lost” to most after the Kingdom of Israel (Ten Tribes) was carried into captivity around 721 B.C.  Members from all twelve tribes will be present at the time of the invasion of the Promised Land.

Furthermore, after the 6th Seal is opened, 12,000 of each of the twelve tribes are sealed (Rev. 7: 3-8; 14: 1-7).  In other words, the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel will be found and will populate Jerusalem during the 1,000 year reign.  Christ said that He was sent to them.  The apostle James wrote to them; “to the twelve tribes scattered abroad, greeting” (James 1: 1).  Paul said that  “our twelve tribes” were “instantly serving God day and night” waiting upon the promises of God (Acts 26: 7).

If there is an invasion by Russia and Iran, it will not be that which is spoken of in Ezekiel 38.

Four Misconceptions About Christianity–When the Earth Was Created, Pre-Adamites, Noah’s Flood, and the Difference Between Jews and Israelites

Fundamentalist Christianity teaches four misconceptions that provide gainsayers ammunition to challenge the veracity of the Bible[1].

The Creation of the Earth–When?

First, they claim that the earth was created 6,000 years ago.  Actually, this is when God created Adam, as biblical chronology supports.  As Frederick Haberman points out, “The Word says, ‘In the beginning God created,’ but it does not say when that beginning was; neither does modern science know.”  It is common knowledge that this earth is extremely ancient in man’s time, in the millions and not thousands of years old.

Adam was not the first

Second, Adam was not the first homo sapien created.  There were indigenous races scattered all over the earth.  No one knows for sure when God created them.   Some of these pre-Adamic people were living literally around this new Garden of Eden, planted by God and tended by Him in preparation for Adam’s new home.  Adam and his descendants were a brand new creation of mankind.  To them God gave the knowledge of the arts of civilization–astronomy, architecture, agriculture, law.  They would be eventually dispersed to bring civilization to many parts of the earth.  Isn’t it interesting that the historical record starts about the time of the biblical creation of Adam–about 4,000 years B.C.?

To those who doubt this, I ask you two questions about Cain, the murderous son of Adam.  Why was Cain deathly afraid of being sent away after the LORD  cursed him? Cain cried out, “My punishment is greater than I can bear!  Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground…I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond [wanderer] on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me” [2].  Who were these people that Cain was afraid of?  The very fact that he was afraid of being killed by someone “out there” proves that there were other men before Adam’s family was created. He knew that being cast out, he would become like the other hunter-gatherers; he would be a “restless wanderer” like  them with no stable home.  He would be cast out into a hard nomadic life, a life full of danger and desperation.  The second question is the age-old one: Where did Cain get his wife?  That has now been answered.

Noah’s Flood

Third–and this is a huge sticking point to so many who have been taught this since infancy–Noah’s flood was not worldwide, but a local one.  Genesis is the book of Adam and his offspring. Genesis 5: 1 says, “This is the book of the generation of Adam.”  In other words, Genesis is not a record of the hunter-gatherer nomadic tribes that trod the earth before Adam was created around 4,000 B.C.  It is a record of Adamite man and his world.  So when Genesis states that the whole world was flooded, it is talking about Adam’s offspring’s world.  But when we have been programmed to believe that the Bible teaches that Adam is the father of all men, then understanding languishes.  “A universal Deluge is contradicted by many statements of Scripture and impossible to harmonize with the chronology of the Old Testament, to say nothing of the physical impossibilities and consequences” [3].  According to scripture, the patriarch Abraham is standing in the illustrious courts of Pharoah a mere 300 years after the flood of Noah.  A total worldwide flood would have rendered the earth so destitute that it would take much more than 300 years for new civilizations to arrive again.

Moreover, this same “whole world” concept is spoken of in the New Testament.  The scripture states that the Romans “taxed the whole world” during the time of Jesus’ infancy.  We know, of course, that it was only the Roman world that was taxed, not the Americas or China.  But the Roman world was their world.  Does that make the Bible inaccurate?  No.  Seen in this new light helps dissolve all the inconsistencies used in arguments against the veracity of the Bible.  One other thing to consider in this third point.  God’s Law of Harvest states:  Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  According to this law, there is no way that all the races of the world could possibly come out of the loins of Noah and his wife Naamah.  It is totally impossible!  The Chinese have chinese babies that greatly resemble their parents.  The same for Africans, Indians, and Western Europeans.  Something is off somewhere.  Getting rid of this misconception clears up much.

The Difference Between Jews and Israelites

“The fourth great stumbling block to the critics of the Old Testament has been the assumption that God’s chosen people, Israel, were the Jews,” writes Haberman.  The children of Israel were comprised of the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.  Jacob, of course, was the son of Isaac and the grandson of Abraham (Gen. 12).  One of Jacob’s sons was Judah.  Like his brothers, Judah and his offspring inherited some of the Promised Land in Palestine.  It is Judah’s descendants that began to be called Jews about 500-600 B.C., more than 1,000 years after Judah’s father Jacob/Israel was born.  Therefore, Abraham was not a Jew!  So, all twelve tribes were Israelites, but only one major tribe came to be called Jews.  It is like, all Texans are Americans, but all Americans are not Texans.  And to complicate matters even more, 90% of modern day Jews are descendants of the Khazars, a Turko-Mongol tribe in south central Asia, who converted to Judaism about a thousand years ago [4].  And now they claim to be the true descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel and receivers of all the blessings promised to Abraham and his posterity! The truth is that they are not out of the loins of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel.[See Gen. 35: 9-12].

It is difficult to figure all this out.  It takes much study, but it is well worth it to get the truth.    KWH

The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel–A Short History

Christ speaks a lot about “the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”  But who are they?  A short history will help unravel the mystery.

God chose him out a people to work through and manifest Himself in.  They were direct descendants of Adam, on through Noah, Shem, on through to Abraham, to whom He made exceeding wonderful promises.  God literally visited Abraham and told him that if he would believe Him and love Him and walk in HIs ways, that Abraham and his children would inherit the world (Rom. 4: 13).

God (Yahweh) also told Abraham, “Thou shalt be a father of many nations” (Gen. 17: 4).  In fact, God changed his name to Abraham, which means in Hebrew, “father of a great multitude.”  God makes a covenant with this man and tells him, “I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee…”  It is an “everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee” (v. 5-7).

Please note that he is the father of “many nations.”  This could not be the modern day Jewish nation of Israelis, for they are only one nation, have never been many nations, and have always been small in number–and that without a king.

Picking up the story, Abraham and Sarah had the miracle “son of promise” Isaac, who had Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.  Jacob/Israel had twelve sons, and they became twelve tribes.  We all know the story of them being enslaved in Egypt for 400 years and how they came out of bondage led by the prophet Moses into the “Promised Land”–the land promised to their forefather Abraham.

Eventually they became the Kingdom of Israel under the illustrious King David about 1000 B.C.  They had been warned  by God through Moses that they would be blessed beyond measure if they loved God and kept His commandments, and they would be punished if they forgot God and worshipped other gods.  “And the LORD (Yahweh) shall scatter you among all people” (Deut. 28: 64).

David’s son, King Solomon, sinned against God in worshipping other gods.  “Forasmuch as thou hast not kept my covenant {going all the way to his forefather Abraham}, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant” (I Kings 11: 11).

After Solomons death about 975 B.C., a civil war ensued and ten of the northernmost tribes broke away and set up the Kingdom of Israel with Samaria as its capital.  The remaining two tribes, Judah and Benjamin (with a few of Levi), became the Kingdom of Judah.

From then on these two distinct kingdoms are referred to as the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah.  They have two different king lines, but both are admonished by the true prophets of God.

They told both kingdoms that although their sins would eventually lead them into captivity, that God in the last days would regather all twelve tribes and restore them back to the land of promise.  God will have compassion and “will gather thee from all the nations” where you have been scattered (Deut. 30: 3; Jer. 30: 11).

In about 721 B.C. the Kingdom of Israel is taken captive by the Kingdom of Assyria.  Their identity is lost to most historians.  These are the “lost sheep of the House of Israel.”  The Kingdom of Judah was conquered by Babylonia around 600 B.C.  They were scattered but they maintained their identity.  The Jews, then, are not these lost Israelites; they were called Judahites and later Jews.

Christ, with Yahweh’s compassionate Spirit inside, was always doing His Father’s business in finding and regathering them.  But who are they, and what are these many nations that they became?  Many proofs point that they are the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Scandanavian peoples of the world.  They are the only countries that can fulfill all the prophecies given over the ancient House of Israel (Gen. 49: 22-26).  {A library of information on this vital subject can be found here:    http://www.ensignmessage.com/default.asp }.

One need only use the search engines to see thousands of websites devoted to proving all this.  We need to prove all things to ourselves as His future rulers in His kingdom.   Kenneth Wayne Hancock
