Spiritual Gifts Given to Fulfill God’s Purpose

The truth is this: God has a purpose to reproduce Himself. And He has a plan to implement His purpose; He will use certain human beings to accomplish it. He has thought it all out and He has written it all down for us in the written word of God.

To those whom He has prepared and shown this vision, He has promised to send the Spirit of truth, who will lead us into all truth–the truth about His purpose and plan. Once we get on the road to helping Him accomplish His purpose and plan, He has promised to help us help Him. He has promised us gifts–the “gifts of the Spirit.”

The first of these gifts is guiding my hand this very moment. This pen is writing by the Spirit the logos-sophia–the “word of wisdom.” This is the “hidden wisdom” that only comes out of the heart of God, whose heart is in His Son. It is a mystery, this hidden wisdom, so rare to the senses of natural man, that it can be written openly now and uploaded by the miracle of the internet to all eyes, and only be understood by those who should understand. And yet, this hidden wisdom will come with a clarity that  sits in the minds of His people chosen and predisposed by God to understand, though thousands of miles away from my hilly hamlet.

For it is His word that is the seed, that is the truth. It is the seed, the word, the logos, that is cast out over the entire field of the world (Matt. 13: 24-30; 37-43). God’s seed goes out over the entire world, and yet, “none of the princes knew” of this hidden wisdom at work, for had they had known, “they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (I Cor. 2: 6-8). Their evil heart blinded them from the wisdom of God.

And none of the rulers of our own age will see this hidden wisdom, for it “is not of this world” (John 18: 36). Even as we, brothers and sisters, are not of this world. We are other-worldly.

And the gifts of the Spirit we receive to accomplish His purpose are not from this world system. They are from above, even as we are.

A Word from Wisdom, Not a Word about Wisdom

And the very first gift that the Spirit of truth gives us is the logos-sophia, the word of wisdom (I Cor. 12: 8). It is the necessary first gift, for it will open the door to the other gifts.

The “word of wisdom” is not a word about wisdom, but a word from wisdom. Wisdom is crying out to us, pleading with us to seek after her, but few hear her cries (Prov. 1: 20-23).  Wisdom even promises us this: “I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.”

Yet, very few know what wisdom is. Even fewer care to know. Some say that no one can know. The prophet Job asked the question: “Where shall wisdom be found?” He then relates that it is not in earthly things–gold, silver, jewels; they cannot buy wisdom. He then looks at all the inexplainable–the “acts of God,” the overturning of the mountains, the rivers cutting through the rocks, the secrets of the universe, and the binding of “floods from overflowing; the thing that is hid brings He forth to light.” Where does wisdom come from? It comes from God, of course. God declared it and “unto man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom” (Job 28: 9-28).

But what exactly is “the fear of the Lord”? Having reverential awe of God and His power. If we don’t have it, we ask for it. He’ll give it to us. He wants to give it to us. And once we receive it, we can receive of its words. Wisdom will teach us of His word through the “word of wisdom.”

For the “word of wisdom” speaks of the mystery of “the divine plan” (Thayer’s G4680, sophia wisdom). And this divine plan is how the Father will use Christ His Son to reproduce Himself, until we His body “be filled with all the fulness of God” (Eph. 3: 19). If we are filled with all the fulness of God, then God will have reproduced Himself in us, the body of Christ!

For our destiny is just that: Christ is the head and we the church are His body, “the fulness of Him that fills all in all” (Eph. 1: 22-23).

This the hidden wisdom and knowledge for our day, and the rulers and the masses will not believe it. Just go tell them that God will someday fill us up with His Spirit; He will be all in all. And see what they say. They don’t believe that. If they did, they would teach it. But the unbelief is thick and suffocating to the young child of God.

Natural man “receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned…But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit” (I Cor. 2: 14, 10).

And this is what He has revealed to us: God is reproducing Himself through His Son and the Son’s body of believers, the church. And He is revealing the knowledge of His plan to get this done. And He is doing it all by His Spirit, working through His gifts to us. That is the importance of the “word of wisdom.”   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Five Offices of God–For Our Perfection

Unto man has God “put in subjection the world to come.” Man. That’s us, brethren. In the world to come, the next age, the time in the history of this earth after Christ’s return to rule it for a thousand years—God has ordained that some of us human beings will be rulers with Christ in the government that He will establish (Heb. 2: 5).

To rule and reign with Christ in His kingdom/government—that is the high calling. Brethren, are we ready? Have we grown spiritually that we would be strong and pure enough to take on that mantle of responsibility for the King, to be His administrators, His regents, His arms and hands, His heart and mind in the myriad matters of ruling the King’s earth?

To help us fulfill this “high calling” of God, Christ came “that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man” (2: 9). And Christ will be made complete and perfect by His act of “bringing many sons unto glory” (v. 10). And this glory is us being glorified, which in turn brings final glory to the King and Master. Christ will be fully glorified when He fulfills His final destiny, which is bringing His chosen ones to full spiritual maturity.

He did say, “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone. But if it die, it brings forth much fruit” (John 12: 24). We are the “much fruit” that He refers to on the road to His glorification (v. 23).

And because we, Christ’s followers, have come out of the matrix of “flesh and blood, He also Himself took part of the same.” Why? So that He could pave the way for our immortality, made possible by the destruction of the devil. Christ destroys the devil when He destroys sin in our life and gives us a new life by faith (Heb. 2: 14). That’s the foundation to build the temple of God on. Since we are His temple, that is where we start.

And Christ brings us to that full mature spiritual growth by sharing His Spirit with His body of believers. He shares His Spirit with His teachers, and they then impart the necessary knowledge to Christ’s brethren, for “He is not ashamed to call [us] brethren (2: 11).

Why God Gave Us the Five Fold Ministry Offices

In fact, Christ set in His spiritual body of believers five offices: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. And Christ established these offices “for the perfecting of the saints [the brethren, us], for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4: 11-12).

Let’s savor this a moment. God has chosen out from among all the Christians in the world a few to be in these offices. Why? What is their purpose? First, they are necessary “for the perfecting” of the members of Christ’s church, which is His body of believers. The Greek word (G2675) translated “perfecting” here means “to be fit, prepared, to be mended and repaired, and ethically, to be complete and perfect, and to make one what he ought to be” (http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=G2675&t=KJV).

The true offices of God will help us by the Spirit within them to become prepared, ready and fit to assume the duties in Christ’s kingdom—royal duties to be assigned to us of our Father. For this is really the “work of the ministry” that Paul refers to here. The “ministry” of Christ is the administration of His government that will fill the whole earth, according to the prophet Daniel in 2: 44 and 7: 18: “But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.” That’s a long time to be in the presence of the King of kings (that’s us with the little “k”). And we “shall take the kingdom and possess it forever.” We. Us. Ruling with Christ the King.

That’s the gospel, my brothers and sisters. That’s the good news that man needs. Getting rid of the corruption caused by the sinful hearts of the leaders of this present world system and replacing it with righteous rulers who contain the Spirit of Christ in their bosoms. That’s the gospel; that’s the good news. It is the “gospel of kingdom” (Matt. 4: 23; Mark 1: 14-15). But how the gospel has been watered down at best by preaching only a tiny portion of His plan! How it has been poisoned by the preaching of false concepts like the prosperity doctrine! Well did the prophets cry, “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture, Saith the LORD.” And, “My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray.” But then He promises finally, “I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding” (Jer 23: 1; 50: 6; Ezk 34: 2; Jer 3: 15).

How Long Will They Teach Us?

These Spirit-led apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers in our day will continue to teach “till we all come in the unity of the faith” (Eph. 4: 13). They through the Spirit will teach His pure concepts until we Christians are on the same page, until we have His vision. They will teach by His Spirit until the body has the true “knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man” (4: 11).

They will continue to teach the truth until we are fully grown, walking in the Spirit like Peter, James, John, and Paul did after the Resurrection. “Perfect” here means a completed spiritual life cycle growth. They will teach until we all have the “measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (v. 11).

But don’t just take my word for it. We must prove all things through study and prayer to see if the things expounded here take root and grow in our hearts—to see if this vision of a royal heritage quickens like a seed in warm rich soil which loses its lonely first state and dies, only to be reborn as a green lively plant nourished by the living waters, alive now to reproduce itself, as the Creator has reproduced Himself in us.     Kenneth Wayne Hancock

“The Just Shall Live by Faith”–But Who Are “the Just”? and Which Faith?

“The just shall live by faith,” says the prophet Habbakuk (2: 4).  It is a very important passage quoted by Paul the apostle and made famous by Martin Luther.  But who are the just?  And which faith was the prophet talking about?

The Hebrew word translated “just” is rendered “righteous” in scores of passages.  So how “righteous” and “just” are we talking about here?  Godlike righteous.  We see this same word used to describe God Himself.  He “is a God of truth…just and right is He” (Deut. 32: 4).  We are talking about a godlike righteousness that some will have.  Not a self-righteousness, but a godly rightness.  The just, the righteous ones will be living their days on earth by faith.

Who are the just?  Who are the righteous?  They will carry in their hearts that righteous state of God Himself.  And they will receive this happy state with the Hebrew God because of their faith, having believed first without seeing.

The “just” in God’s eyes are those who are right with Him because He is right in them.  They are the righteous and in good standing with their Maker.

They, like their spiritual father Abraham, walk by faith and not by the sight of their eyes (II Cor. 5: 7).  Faith is the evidence of things not seen (Heb. 11: 1).

So the just are the righteous humans like God is righteous here on the earth, who believe having not seen nor received the promises of the kingdom of God.  They shall live their days on earth by faith.  Believing God’s word and plan is the way they will live.  And because God can only be pleased by this walk of faith, they become just in His sight.  He imputes righteousness to them, which is being in a right state with God.  And that is all we really need.

Which Faith?

So the true faith is extremely important.  And this faith spoken of in the scriptures of truth is not the same “faith” spoken of in news casts on TV, when the news-reading talking head says about someone who displays some religious activity: “He is a person of faith.”  Meaning that he believes in a higher power.  They acknowledge that somebody up there is bigger that they are.  No, this is not the faith that Paul, Peter, and John spoke of.

Think about it.  The Hindus believe in thousands of somebodies up there swimming in a mystical nirvanic goo.  That is indeed a belief and a faith.  And many Hindus are very spiritual and religious, and TV personalities may say that they are people of faith, but that is not the faith of the Hebrew God of the Holy Bible.

Not picking on Hindus here, for the same can be said of most of the denominations and sects of Churchianity.  2,200 and counting, and they disagree with each other.  That is why there are so many of them.  But the Spirit says there is only one body (church) and one Spirit (one God) and one faith (Eph. 4: 4-6).  So all of these denominations cannot be exactly what the apostles practiced and wrote about.

Depart from Me…

Moreover, Christ speaks disparagingly of some very sincere Christians in these last days.  He says to them, “Not everyone that says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.  [We sincerely called You Lord]  But he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven [You mean confessing that Christ is our Lord won’t do the trick?] Many will say to Me in that day [Which day? The time of the end?] Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? [Come on, now, we preached in your name!] and in thy name have cast out devils? [Lord, I saw many slain in the Spirit in your name.  It had to be You!] and in thy name done many wonderful works? [We set up food kitchens and sent out missionaries and gave away bibles in far away lands, and You were with us, weren’t You?]  And then I will profess to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matt. 7: 21-23).  Since there is no idle words of God, these words will be spoken to some well-meaning people in that day.

That last paragraph was tough to write, but there it is in black in white.  Of course, some will say that His words are harsh treatment.  But why will these sincere Christians, who are “people of faith,” why will they be rejected?  Because their faith was based on a vision of Christ and His plan that was in error.

Because denominations have hundreds of different interpretations of what the Bible is saying, and because they all cannot be right and just, then somebody has to be wrong.  Sincere, maybe, but wrong as to what the faith of Christ and its vision is about.

So, yes, “the just shall live by faith.”  Those who God sees as His offspring walking with Him in His truth at the time of the end–they “shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever” (Dan. 12: 3).  Righteousness—there’s that word we started out with again.  The just, the righteous, those upon whom God has imputed righteousness because of their faith toward Him—they will shine.

In fact those “just” ones, they will rule over men during the kingdom age.  They will sit with Christ on His throne, full of His righteousness, and they will sit as princes ruling the world.  Nothing less.  “He that rules over men, he must be just, ruling in the fear of God, and he shall be as the light of the morning sun after the rain, after the rain” (II Sam. 23: 3; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiJlJgd9x1s ).

And because God has chosen “not many mighty and not many noble,” His true elect will appear as no one very special.  They are the “filth and off-scouring of the world…For God has chosen the weak things of this world to confound the mighty (I Cor. 1: 26).

So the question comes full circle to each of us who is a “person of faith.”  Which faith is it, for there are many faiths in Christendom that will be rejected by Christ upon His return?  Which vision of the Bible do we believe?  For many followers will come up short and they will weep and gnash their teeth at Him when they realize that the version taught in their churches was the wrong one.  For “wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.”  And few will find the narrow way that leads to life (Matt. 7: 13-14).

We must then believe on Him the actual way that the scriptures have said.  Those who do are the just and righteous, and they will rule and reign with Him in His kingdom.       Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Ten Reasons You Should Own Gold For “The Last Days”

For 6,000 years, Adam and his descendants have used gold as the ultimate store of value.  Gold is real money; it is biblical and has been  the “money that answers all things”  that pertains to the earthly portion of our spiritual sojourn.

A wise man once said, “That which has been is now, and that which is to be has already been, and God requires the things of the past” (Ecclesiastes 3: 15).  Gold “has been” real money in the past, and it is “now” real money.   And God is requiring us, His children, to wake up to the fact that gold will play a huge part in our survival for these last days.

Confirmation as to gold’s importance to us comes from these secular sources provided by Aurum Advisors:

  1. The Stimulus Effect: Including $1 trillion in cash infusions, the stimulus plan will pump $9.7 trillion into the economy, according to Bloomberg. As the Globe & Mail reports flatly, “Many believe that the monetary stimulus efforts will cause a spike in inflation,” driving gold higher.
  2. COMEX Traders Predict $1,600 Gold… by December: If gold trades at or above $1,600 by December, some 100,000 call option contracts will be “in the money.” Big-money players Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are reportedly helping to drive the action, ahead of a huge purchase of gold futures contracts.
  3. “Big Money” Inflows: In 2008, NYC-based hedge fund Paulson & Co’s flagship fund returned 37%, as the world markets burned. Paulson’s bullish on gold, big time, including the Mar. 17 purchase of 39.9 million shares of AngloGold, worth $1.28 billion. Other major hedge funds are piling into gold, too, including Eton Park Capital, Green light Capital and Hayman Advisors.
  4. China’s Doubling Down! China just revealed that it has doubled its gold holdings to 1,054 tons. Yet that still only equals 1.6% of its overall reserves. As China moves out of U.S. Treasuries and into gold, this will help fuel the next leg of the run-up.
  5. Demand Building across the Board: Worldwide demand for gold jumped by $29.7 billion in the first quarter, a 36% bolt, according to the World Gold Council. Demand for gold ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) rocketed 540%… another trigger for the coming gold boom.
  6. The Paper Dollar’s 30% Drop: Since 2001, the U.S. Dollar Index has tanked 30%… while gold has risen 300%. With all the downward pressure on the dollar, and inflation on the way, this trend is about to pick up steam.
  7. Gold/Dow Ratio Signals $8,000 Gold: During major gold bull markets (and corresponding equity bears), gold and the Dow converge at a 1-to-1 ratio. During the last gold bull, the Dow sank to 850 and gold rose to $850. The Dow is now over 8,000… But even if it fell to 4,000, we could see $4,000 gold before this bull run is over!
  8. U.S. Treasury Dept. Signals $5,468 Gold: Currently, the U.S. government holds about 286.9 million ounces of gold. It has printed about $1.569 trillion worth of paper dollars. If each dollar were backed by gold, that would put the price at $5,468.80 an ounce.
  9. Riding the “Commodity Super Cycle”: Jim Rogers expects the Commodity Super Cycle to drive commodity prices higher for another eight years… including gold. And he’s stockpiling the yellow metal by the day. Every pullback, says Rogers, is another buying opportunity. Considering he’s been dead right on every major trend of the past 40 years, we wouldn’t bet against him.
  10. Historic Model Predicts $6,214 Gold: During the last gold bull, the yellow metal ran from $35 an ounce to $850, a 24-fold increase. This bull started with gold at $255.95, meaning that if historic trends hold, the price target would be $6,214 an ounce [ http://www.goldcoinsgain.com/comex-traders-predict-gold-at-1600-by-december.html?mode=preview ].

Presidents Do Not Make Presidential Policies–The CFR, Trilateralists, and Bilderbergers Do, Says Bob Chapman

A must read by Bob Chapman explaining what’s going on behind the economic and political debacle in Washington:

“We remind you that presidents do not make presidential policies. They are made by the bureaucratic types, who receive their marching orders from the Illuminists above them. This is why you had the seamless transition from the neocon administration to the current decidedly more fascistic one now in power.

Team A replaced Team B from the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateralists and Bilderbergers. Nothing really changed. If you accept the premise that they are all intent on creating world government then you can understand why they all are preparing us for controlled collapse.

These planners expected problems, but they were not prepared for the potential of major social unrest displayed at Town Hall meetings nationwide. There is finally growing social unrest and rightly so. All that was initiated by bailing out the rich financial sector to the tune of $23.7 trillion, and then the lying about where funds were going and how they were being used, then more lies, and then the bonuses at AIG and Goldman Sachs and at other Illuminist companies. The public has begun to listen to our story and the elitists cannot let the truth see the light of day. The system is rigged toward the rich insiders and now the public isn’t even getting crumbs and everything is being taken away from them. Those insiders… are dismissive of population and the fairness of the system…

Government no longer serves the people or the general good, and the healthcare and cap & trade are typical issues. It is not what Americans want, but what corporate America and politicians want. All the rewards to the crooks on Wall Street and in banking that have destroyed our financial system. We have just been on the receiving end of dreadful government for 8 years and Americans feel helpless after electing a new president. The result thus far has been disastrous.

Still few of their elected representatives listen to anything they have to say and it is no wonder we saw the outpouring of unhappiness displayed at Town Hall meetings. This in part is why people are walking away from debt and not paying their taxes. They believe they have an illegitimate government, which refuses to serve and listen to them. They now only represent corporate America.”

The Kingdom of Heaven Versus Man’s One World Government

At this time in history, we all need some good news.  So here it is.  The Kingdom of Heaven is coming to this earth–literally.  Not “floating around heaven all day.”  Not apple pie in the sky bye and bye.   No, Christ is literally coming back to this earth to bring in a new government to earth.

The new government coming is a kingdom, which is a form of government whereby one of royal lineage rules completely and with full authority.  A kingdom then whose roots have a celestial origin would be considered a “kingdom of heaven,” or a kingdom from heaven.

Now the sovereign ruler of the Kingdom of Heaven is the King and Creator of this universe.  His name has come down to English speakers as Jesus.  But His  name since before the beginning of time, His name in the original spoken language of heaven, is Yahshua.

The meaning of His name proclaims our very ticket into citizenship in His kingdom.  Yah (Yahweh, the self-existent One) Shua (Is the Savior).  His is a kingdom/government which, according to the scriptures of truth, will break and smash into pieces all the other governments of this world.

The prophet Daniel spoke about this very event.  He was interpreting a forgotten dream that greatly troubled the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar.    Daniel told him his dream and interpreted it, giving glory to God as the One who reveals secrets.

The Dream

Daniel told him, You saw a great image whose “head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron and part of clay.”  Then you saw “a stone…cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces…and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth” (Daniel 2: 28-37).

The Interpretation

He went on to interpret his dream.  The different parts of the image were different world empires.  The head of gold was Nebuchadnezzar.   “And after thee, shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass…and a fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron “and shall break in pieces and subdue all things” (2: 38-40).

Here we see that Nebchadnezzar’s image in his dream was a vision of world empires, destined to rule the earth.  Scholars have universally said these four to be Babylonian, Media-Persia, Greece, and Rome.

Daniel continues the interpretation: “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed.”  It will be an everlasting government.  “It shall not be left to other people.”  All of man’s kingdoms have an end when other people take their lands, riches, and buildings for their own–but not this heavenly kingdom.  This is the one kingdom that will never be vanquished.  “It shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms.”  This is the stone kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven, that wipes out man’s kingdoms once and for all.  And “it shall stand forever” (2: 44).  The Kingdom of Heaven is an everlasting government that shall be ruled and reigned over by the King Himself, Jesus (Yahshua) of Nazareth.  This is the gospel, the good news for us the inhabitants of the earth!

And what was the Babylonian king’s reaction to this seemingly negative and rash interpretation by this foreigner Daniel in the court of the king?  Instead of killing Daniel, the king “fell upon his face, and worshiped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him,” and praised Daniel’s God.  He then made Daniel a “great man” and “ruler over the whole province of Babylon.”  He made him a viceroy, the chief governor of the kingdom.  So let us not be afraid what the enemy shall do unto us when we stand for the Kingdom of Heaven.

A Glimpse into the Future

Nebuchadnezzar was allowed to look down through 26 centuries to the time of the end, when a terrible world system with the mind of that “head of gold” still would be guiding the beastly image of world governance.

The image is one–one world governmental system.  The old Babylonian religion came to Rome on down to this very day.  Couple that with the political fascist fist of Rome which has now permeated the thoughts of the world’s ruling elite.  The last revival  of the old Roman Empire is the European Union, which is a precursor to a One World Union, presided over by the offspring of the old world kings and princes. (But because Christ’s kingdom “is not of this world,” His servants will not fight with man made weapons.  They will fight with the “sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph 6: 17).

And it is in the days of this last revival that the stone kingdom will come crashing down on the present world system, paving the way for the King and his heavenly kingdom to permeate the earth forever.  We are living in the time frame when He will come back.  That is the gospel, the good news.

The Fall of Satan’s Kingdom (The One World Government) As Seen in Psalm 2

Satan’s got a kingdom?  Christ said that he did.  Christ, who even the atheists and agnostics say is a great teacher, confirmed this fact: “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” (Matt. 12: 26).  Luke quoted Satan saying that he held the power “of all the kingdoms of the world” during the temptations of Christ (4: 5).

Satan then has a kingdom, which is comprised of all of the world’s governments.  That is from the scripture of truth, which “cannot be broken” (John 10: 35).  I don’t care how much “the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing” (Psalm 2: 1-12).

And it is the governments of this world system, who are in the grips of Satan’s power, that are coming against the LORD (Yahweh) of heaven, their Creator.  “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed (Christ)” (v. 2).

But God is not worried.  He is even laughing about the keystone-cop rulers of this world, for He “shall have them in derision” very shortly (v. 4).  For God’s wrath is soon to come up on Satan’s divided kingdoms; he will “vex them in His sore displeasure” (v. 5) and will “break them with a rod of iron..into pieces like a potter’s vessel” (v. 9).  For He has set up His Son Christ as His King (v. 6), and God has left all judgment to Him, to sort it all out during the 1,000 year reign of Christ.

And yet, despite the coming vengeance of the LORD on the ungodly at the end of this age, He in His great mercy still extends a hand to those in power who will come to Him: “Be wise now therefore, O ye kings; be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled…” (v. 10-11).

But “how hard it is for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God” (Mark 10: 24).

Right now as we write this, the rulers of this world who “trust in riches” are in derision.  They are clamoring in their money schemes for a one world government that will be totally devoid of the love of Christ.  Many factions are wrestling against each other, jockeying for the ultimate position of power in Satan’s government.

Just look at the big powers: The Western international banking houses who have Europe and North America and the Israeli state in their hip pocket, China and the Asian block , the Middle East, Russia–all these powers are divided, for they all want to be the top dog in the coming one world government spoken of by God’s true prophets.  They are divided; these egomaniacs will help bring on their own fall.

The fall of Satan’s kingdom is coming  just before the Prince of peace Himself comes back to establish His wonderful rule in the earth–where there will be no more war, greed, nor evil allowed to ravage the innocent who scratch the bloody earth with their withered fingers.  No more empty smiling promises from jaded politicians.  Even so, come quickly, LORD.         Kenneth Wayne Hancock
